Being Positive in Times of Tribulation
We often wonder why things in our life go wrong for no apparent reason. We search our hearts for anything that has caused unrest or disharmony and contemplate the source of our problems. Did I mistreat someone, am I working wholeheartedly, have I failed to recognize the grace of a Higher Power? If you are going through a trial in your life, be encouraged and realize that this may be a way to develop your spiritual life. Being blessed is not a matter of how good you have been, but the result of grace and lessons that teach you to endure and build character. At the moment you feel discouraged say to yourself "I will NOT be overcome by fear and disappointment, for this storm shall pass. I have victory in knowing that I WILL BE stronger, wiser, and closer to the Source of my help. Although trouble may be knocking at my door, I will not answer for it shall not come in. Where there is doubt, I shall say trust. Where there is frustration, I shall say peace. Where there is weariness, I shall say endure. Because I know that despite my circumstances, I am covered in Love and Mercy." Be encouraged everyone

Positive thinking
It's easy to become caught in a cycle of gloom and doom. It's sensational, it provokes the emotions, and others will listen for a little while. However a successful and fulfilling life is not determined by a never ending black cloud of despair. If you are not sure about your perspective on life, at least take the time to follow some simple direction that may help you feel that you are walking in the light.
2. Developing a desire for positive thinking often comes through practice. Set daily goals of rethinking at least one bad thought and viewing the benefit of its occurrence.
3. Avoid blaming other people for the troubles in life. Although others may have contributed road blocks and closed doors, do not allow these things to hinder you from moving forward.
4. Realize that you are not the only one. The issues that you experience now happened to someone else 10,000 years ago. We all want to believe that we are unique individuals, but as humans, we share common bonds in many areas.
5. Engage in healthy conversations. When ever you are tempted with gossip or associate with someone who presents the negative view of life on a daily basis, give a positive response or change the topic. This will keep you from falling into their cycle of unhappiness.
