The Real Secret

Everyone wants to know if The Secret Works. My answer to those who question this is, of course it works!!! This has been told to people since the beginning of time in a variety of ways. The Bible is filled with ways to manifest a satisfying life. A famous quote by Mahatma Ghandi reads "A man is but the product of his thoughts and what he thinks, he becomes.” Honestly there is no secret, because everyone knows what to do. However I feel that many people do not realize how to implement positive thoughts into every day life. One very simple example is the difference between an optimist and a pessimist. The optimist says the glass is half full while the pessimist says the glass is half empty. Neither of them tries to manifest a situation in which the glass is suddenly filled with water, they view the same incident with different perceptions. Hence the essence of the real secret is, your thought process. It is how you view your situation that manifests the positive energy in your life. When a person says "My is life so cursed. Why do bad things happen to me." One of the main reasons that they feel this depressing spirit is because they are only focused on what they perceive as negative events in their life. I have many people who try to use the secret as a means to obtain financial wealth due to some horrible financial decisions they have made. I don't want to break anyone's heart, but money is not going to magically appear in your pocket because you think about it. First of all, if you truly used The Secret to guide your life, you would start a plan to pay off your debts and eliminate unnecessary spending. Your purpose would turn from material wealth towards a happier fulfilling life. The big house and expensive car does not make you more important nor does it bring contentment. If you don't believe me, try asking Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, or Nicole Richie. I feel that they would have a lot to say about this subject. Better yet, ask some of the less known members of society who have won megamillion lotteries. I'm sure they would have a few words of wisdom to impart as well. No matter how you look at it, The Secret is not magic that prevents car accidents, hurricanes, and deaths. It does not bring you everlasting human life and eternal material riches. Use it as a way to appreciate what life offers, instead of focusing on what it does not.
